The story

Built in 1924 as the Medical Arts Building adjacent to The Alamo, the Emily Morgan Hotel was the tallest building in San Antonio for many years and housed medical offices, a psychiatric ward and a morgue. The building's history and its proximity to The Alamo battlefield have led to consistent reports of apparitions in the elevator, whispered voices near the former psychiatric floor and cold spots throughout the upper stories. The hotel was named for the Yellow Rose of Texas, Emily Morgan, a figure of considerable legend.
