Haunted Cemeteries

Olivewood Cemetery

Houston, TX

Houston's first incorporated African-American cemetery, founded in 1875, resting place of formerly enslaved people and community founders. Damaged by neglect and flooding and now under devoted volunteer restoration, Olivewood is a heritage site first; its quiet ghost stories come second.
