Agnes of Glasgow

Camden, SC

In Camden, South Carolina's old Quaker Cemetery lies Agnes of Glasgow, a Scottish girl who died in 1780 after crossing the ocean, legend says, in search of her soldier love. Her tended grave and the figure said to wander near it have made her the town's sweetest ghost story.
