Merion, PA

The General Wayne Inn served Merion, Pennsylvania, from 1704 — host to Washington, Lafayette and Edgar Allan Poe, and long called one of America's most haunted inns. Its later history turned dark with a 1996 tragedy, and the building now serves a synagogue community.
