Loch Raven Reservoir (Drowned Warren)

Towson, MD

Loch Raven Reservoir north of Baltimore drowned the mill village of Warren in 1922 — its people moved, its buildings razed for the city's water. Watershed telling keeps the village's lights beneath the surface and figures on the old roads that dive under.
