The Heard Museum was founded in 1929 by Dwight and Maie Heard to house their extensive collection of Native American art and artifacts. The original 1929 building is considered the most active area paranormally, with security guards over the decades reporting strange sounds, objects moving, and the apparition of a Native American man in traditional dress.
